For us Michiganders, the transition from winter to spring can be a bit…surprising.  This year did not disappoint as winter clung to us like a bad ice storm.  However, I think we can now safely say spring really has sprung!

We are immersed in signs of new beginnings all around.  At the Blue Lake Lodge docks are in, tulips are blooming and pring planting and painting is underway.  The warm sun invites us to explore the neighborhood.

Hearty Harvest, our local farmer’s market, is bursting with beautiful flower and vegetable plants.  The new lambs are playing in the field.  Dust off your golf clubs, Tullymore and St Ives’ deep green fairways await.  Or you could spend an entire day at Lakeside Motor Sports. Ed just opened his huge impressive new showroom.  Indulge in the best apple fritter you’ve ever had at Conley’s Homestyle Bakery where Tim has expanded to offer lunch items.   Then, walk off your lunch on the scenic tree lined country roads of the Mecosta/Canadian Lakes area.

You will never be short on activities when you visit our little slice of paradise, even if you choose to simply lay back and soak in the sun on our hammock by the lake.  Your next vacation awaits at The Blue Lake Lodge.
